To Love Kindness
Open. Welcoming. Inclusive. Those words carry a lot of weight at VPC. It is our joy to welcome all who come through our doors to worship, learn and share the sacraments. Together, we care for each other and those in our community. It’s impossible to measure the out-pouring of kindnesses that takes place every day through the sharing of meals, transportation, cards, hugs, lending a hand, fellowship, prayers and more. We are blessed that our church is located on the main street of downtown Versailles, which makes us neighbors in a vibrant, fun and active community. Everyone has a place at VPC. We love it here.
Welcoming Church
Making all those who come into our church feel welcome and valued, and providing gather space for local non-profit organizations..
Congregational Care
Supporting our church family through prayer, calls, visits, notes, and cards, and preparing and delivering meals to those in need of extra help.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Offering a warm hug to anyone who needs one with a hand-crafted prayer shawl.
Community Outreach
Offering help to the most vulnerable in our community by welcoming everyone for food and fellowship every Sunday and for special events like our annual Christmas day dinner. We also support the local community by participating in downtown activities including seasonal festivals and Christmas events.
Pub Theology
A time to gather with the community to share a meal and discuss the theological issues affecting our world today.
Safe Environment
Training employees and volunteers in practices and procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults entrusted to our care.
